Royal Academy of Dance (RAD)

The Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing (CSTD)

CONTEMPORARY
Rambert Grades
The Rambert Grades is a structured and comprehensive assessment system used by the renowned Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance in the United Kingdom. Designed to measure dancers' technical proficiency, artistry, and overall dance development, the Rambert Grades provide a clear pathway for students to progress and grow in their training. The grades encompass various dance styles, including classical ballet, contemporary dance, improvisation, choreography, and repertoire. HIP HOP
Australian Teachers of Dancing (ATOD)
The ATOD (Australian Teachers of Dancing) syllabus is a comprehensive and respected dance curriculum that encompasses various dance styles. Developed by the Australian Teachers of Dancing organization, the ATOD syllabus provides a structured framework for dance education and assessment. The ATOD syllabus emphasizes both technical excellence and creative exploration, encouraging dancers to express themselves while maintaining a strong foundation.


ACROBATIC
Acrobatic Arts (AcroArts)
The AcroArts syllabus is a comprehensive curriculum designed specifically for the discipline of acrobatic dance. Developed by industry professionals, the AcroArts syllabus combines elements of dance and acrobatics to create a unique and dynamic form of movement. It focuses on developing strength, flexibility, balance, and control while incorporating acrobatic skills such as tumbling, contortion, and partner lifts. The AcroArts syllabus is structured in progressive levels, allowing students to safely build upon their skills and advance at their own pace. The AcroArts syllabus is suitable for dancers of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced performers.
Radar Technique
Rebecca Davies pioneered the Radar Technique training program over a period 12 years, while training and producing Australia’s most elite and well-known dancers within her own studio. The syllabus is non-genre specific and Studio Kinetic is the first accredited studio to conduct the Radar Technique syllabus.
This syllabus runs in our technique class will teach dancers how to safely build their dance technique and skills to apply in their competition choreographies.
